Health Center Program Site Visit Protocol Preview

20-Dec-2017
The Health Center Program Site Visit Protocol (SVP) is now available for preview. The new protocol aligns with the Health Center Program Compliance Manual released earlier this year. The SVP will replace the current Site Visit Guide effective in late January 2018. As you know, HRSA site visits support the effective oversight of the Health Center Program. Through Operational Site Visits (OSVs), HRSA assesses and verifies each Health Center Program awardee or look-alike’s compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. This includes assessing look-alike initial designation applicants for compliance with Health Center Program requirements. While the Compliance Manual outlines health center requirements, the SVP will be the tool used to assess compliance with those requirements during OSVs.

If you have general questions about the Compliance Manual or SVP, you may contact the BPHC Helpline online or by phone: 877-974-BPHC (2742) from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday (except federal holidays). For specific questions related to your health center, please contact your project officer.
