The Alabama Primary Health Care Association has launched its Medicaid Application Assistance Program in conjunction with its Medicaid and CHIP outreach, enrollment, and retention program.  APHCA will be hosting its Medicaid Application Assistance Training in conjunction with the 2010 Networking Forum. 
 
Training will be provided to inform assistors in Medicaid and CHIP eligibility criteria as well as the enrollment process. This training will be useful in helping staff address barriers that may prevent individuals from becoming Medicaid/AllKids eligible in a timely manner. While training is open to all individuals, assistors employed by federally qualified health center are required to participate in the program in order to receive reimbursement for a portion of the costs associated with Medicaid Application Assistance. In order to participate in the program, FQHC Medicaid Application Assistors must be certified through a Medicaid approved session.

Please complete one registration per participant. Space is limited so register early. REGISTRATIONS ARE NONREFUNDABLE, HOWEVER, SUBSTITIONS ARE WELCOMED.
