Emergency Preparedness and Response Summit
June 15 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Venue: APHCA Training Center
Presenter: TBD
Audience: Emergency Preparedness, Risk Management Staff
Description: As health centers recover from the prolonged pandemic response and begin to define the new “normal” that includes COVID-19, natural disasters, emerging infectious diseases, terrorist threats, climate issues, and maintenance of all-hazards plans, we need to be ready. The pandemic proved how health centers were capable to be more than resilient and operate successfully under a national public health emergency. The Emergency Preparedness Summit gives attendees an opportunity to gain the knowledge, resources, and relationships necessary to prepare for and respond to future public health emergencies and make sure your Health Center is prepared. This year the EP Summit will highlight Infectious Disease Planning, Active Shooter training and CMS EP Requirements and Updates.
