Ending the HIV Epidemic – Culturally Appropriate Care

Audience: Clinical training for Providers, Quality, Compliance, CMO

Limited to 40 participants

This training will bring cultural sensitivity awareness to reduce the barriers around fully implementing screening, care, and treatment within the health center as well as assist them with successfully implementing a universal HIV screening program targeting patients aged 15-65. Attendees will review: Standard of Care and how to incorporate screening into annual wellness visits, teach staff how to talk to patients, and anti-stigma, and discuss who is at risk. Attendees will receive a toolkit to include consent language, order sets, and barriers to address and discuss how to utilize dashboards to track patients.
